Carita Marrow is an innovative intrapreneur who has come full circle in her career, now working at Adobe, a company that merges technology and creativity in transformative ways. With a background in Fine Arts and Art Management, concentrating in painting and printmaking with a minor in Fashion Merchandising, Carita brings a unique perspective that blends creativity, strategy, and people-centered leadership.
Today, Carita serves as a Senior Manager at Adobe where she leads initiatives at the intersection of people strategy, organizational culture, and workforce engagement. In this role, she guides the strategic direction of Adobe’s global employee community ecosystem, supporting more than 250 global leaders and partnering across HR, talent, and communications teams to strengthen employee experience and leadership engagement across the organization.
Her work focuses on building scalable frameworks that enable leaders to create stronger, more connected teams and thriving workplace cultures. Carita has played a key role in developing governance models, leadership engagement strategies, and enterprise-wide programs that support community, collaboration, and career development across Adobe’s global workforce.
One of her notable contributions includes helping lead Adobe’s Taking Action Initiative, a multi-year enterprise effort focused on strengthening community, career pathways, and organizational engagement. Through this work, Carita collaborated with leaders across talent acquisition, talent management, employee relations, government relations, and brand teams to design programs that expanded access to opportunity and strengthened workforce engagement.
Before joining Adobe, Carita served as Senior Manager of Science Education at UNCF, the nation’s largest scholarship provider. In this role she helped manage high-impact initiatives, including the Fund II Foundation STEM Scholars Program, the UNCF Merck Science Initiative, and the HBCU Innovation Summit. Her leadership contributed to the administration of $11 million in scholarships and leadership grants, supporting more than 700 students pursuing STEM careers.
Outside of her work in people strategy and organizational leadership, Carita remains deeply connected to her artistic roots. She spends her spare time painting and drawing, and her creative background continues to influence how she approaches leadership, community building, and innovation.
Carita believes that strong organizations are built through thoughtful leadership, meaningful connections, and intentional opportunities for people to grow and contribute. Through her work at Adobe and beyond, she continues to help shape environments where individuals, teams, and communities can thrive.

â–º Helped lead Adobe’s Taking Action Initiative, a multi-year enterprise program focused on community engagement, career pathways, and workforce development.
â–º Directed strategy and execution for major industry recruiting partnerships and conferences including AfroTech, Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing, Women Who Code, Code2040, Vets in Tech, Project Hired, UNCF, and Black is Tech, generating more than 20,000 candidate leads.
